Hi Warren,
On this day (March 9) that commemorates two Women, believe it or not, St. Francesca of Rome (patron of Benedictine Oblates and of Travellers) and St. Catherine of Bologna (patron of Artists), we are actually being blessed by some much needed rain here in dusty Oklahoma.
Thanks Be To God.
Your post about the pelicans was lovely, and I enjoyed Patrick's post back to you. I too had tried to photo some pelicans in Mississippi last Spring, but, I think they may have been the brown ones. I was unsuccessful...some things just have to be enjoyed at the heart level.
And, I've drawn the pelican on our parish's altar at least a few times, one I did in color with oil pastels, that many want me to make into a large painting, but I haven't yet.
About the men who are working to raise the houses. Thanks for posting about their work and the images. Of course, NOW I am going pray for everyone's SAFETY, because it looks like jobs that are desperately in need of prayers for SAFETY!!
You are doing fine, and, I'm so glad that Patrick also posts some here (wave to Patrick).
Big Hugz,
Ritagail
