I read all of your posts. Thank you.
That is interesting about the decorating of the boats. Blessing sounds very natural to me, but, I'm not sure I would have thought of decorating them before sending them out. Sounds very much like both an act of hope and an act of encouragement.
So, tell me, who isn't a bit superstitious? Even extremely religious persons rely on certain rituals....even if they say they have none!
As far as families go.....not just Bayou people...
We all need the healing of the Resurrected Jesus.
You are doing good work. I know, because you care. You love. You take the time. You pray. You probably even fuss and cuss a bit, but that's a good thing.....have you learnt to do it in Cajun yet???
